Mobile Phones to Ring Naira From June

A very interesting article was placed in the Nigeria Communication Weeks about different MMT players in Nigeria that are making a mark. MMIT was mentioned in the article. As it is know to the public that you must have a license from CBN (Central Bank of Nigeria) to be able to do any financial transaction on your phone, we are working towards one right now. Keep an eye out for us and see how the journey is going.

Countless times experts congratulated us on a job well done in studying the market and coming up with a great business model. MMIT is counting down to the AITEC Event to go Live

In just three days MMIT will display its new MMT application and we are hoping to shock the industry. My view on the industry is that people are not utilizing what is already on ground, and people are not studying their market. Now the godfather of MMT is M-Pesa and I tip my hat off to them but their business model will not work in other countries, but it just seems everyone is doing the same thing has M-Pesa and that to me is just being cheap and lazy. Don't get me wrong I love M-Pesa's concept but I feel that there should be only one M-Pesa concept and not to be replicated with a twist (well no twist when you think about it), it is just sad, now what MMIT will show at the AITEC EVENT on the 11th & 12th is how a company studies its market (well the African market as a whole) and develop something that will work around the business model that is already on ground. I am counting down to this event and I am looking forward to seeing what other MMT industry have to offer in this market. "See Yall @ AITEC African Banking & Mobile Money Event on the 11th & 12th of May 2010, MMIT will be located at the Mobile Money Hub Section of the event".
